Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years of Project Coordination/Project Management experience, particularly in IT projects (this is a mandatory requirement).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Documentation Management:
- Track and understand documentation deliverables for multiple small projects.
- Gather and organize necessary documentation from customers.
Project Lifecycle Management:
- Assist with or manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Ensure projects are taken through final implementation successfully.
Stakeholder Relationships:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities and tasks, understanding the roles and functions of the project team.
Best Practices and Requirements:
- Follow industry best practices and ensure all project requirements are met and documented.
- Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints.
- Aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds to mitigate project risk events.
- Monitor the status of all identified risks to minimize their impact on the project.
Financial Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring all budgets, forecasts, and costs are measured, tracked, and reported for project success.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and quantify variances.
- Document measurement criteria for success in collaboration with Project Managers or other Leads.
Scope, Schedule, and Cost Management:
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Ensure all issues are captured, resolved, and documented, and that resolutions are communicated effectively.
Meetings and Reports:
- Actively participate in or lead project meetings, following up on action items.
- Provide regular input for status reports, including program portfolio reviews.
General Coordination:
- Assume responsibility and coordination for a wide variety of project and/or program-related tasks.
